Hebden X-Grid’s features mean you benefit

We’ve been in our industry long enough to know that the products you choose need to offer real economic benefits, not just environmental ones. Luckily, the Hebden X-Grid gives you both. Made right here in the UK using recycled waste materials, our product delivers a host of benefits that meet the needs of a wide range of commercial and local authority customers. We know this because they tell us.

Longer lasting means lower costs
Made using 100% recycled polythene (frost-proof and UV stabilised HDPE/PP mix), X-Grid is every bit as durable as it is eco-friendly.

Stronger and better looking
Strong enough to support any UK vehicle, the Hebden X-Grid is also designed to be easily filled with grass or gravel – great where looks are an issue. This mix of practicality and aesthetics adds to your premises’ overall everyday performance.

Lower labour costs
The clever modular system means the Hebden X-Grid can be laid at an impressive rate of 100m2 per person per hour – that means lower labour costs.

Smaller carbon footprint
Built by British workers from 100% British waste means low carbon emissions thanks to minimal transportation. It means less landfill too.

Better in the fight against flooding
High permeability means the Hebden X-Grid allows rainwater to drain safely back into the water table, rather being forced into over-burdened and often antiquated drains.

Friendlier to the environment
Our non-porous material doesn’t leach or contaminate soil or ground water, and it doesn’t contain the harmful chemicals found in pressure-treated lumber. It also avoids the so-called urban ‘heat island’ effect caused by tarmac acting as a thermal store.

Higher performance design
We’ve designed our product to cope easily with thermal expansion, so there’s no lifting at the joints in hot weather. This reduces the risk of ‘earth slip’ and minimises the chance of grass dying beneath the products. the Hebden X-Grid is also lightweight, which means easier transportation, lower haulage costs and fewer carbon emissions.

What about the applications?

There’s almost no limit to the applications our recycled plastic ecopaving is suitable for.  Even so, we’ve listed some of the most common applications here to give you an idea of areas where a dependable, super-strong, low-maintenance surface is useful.  Because of the way our products allow water to drain into the water table, they’re particularly effective in areas prone to flooding, or wherever you need compliance with the Water Management Act 2010.
